Dr. Richard Rubin
is currently Interim Dean, College of Communication and Information at Kent State University. He also Professor at The School of Library and Information Science, Kent State University.
Dr. Rubin was a former reference librarian and Personnel Director at the Akron-Summit County Public Library. He has authored monographs on human resource management and numerous articles on human resources. Additionally, he has given many workshops and has spoken on human resource issues. Dr. Rubin is co-chair of the Library Futures Task Force of the Ohio Library Council. Dr. Rubin thinks Ohio is the best library state in the U.S.!

Carol Bradsher is an independent library consultant. She is a former cataloging and technical services manager with experience in public library systems in Ohio, North Carolina, and South Carolina. She conducts cataloging workshops for state-chartered regional library systems in Ohio, the Ohio Library Council, and the West Virginia State Library, and developed the successful “Guerilla cataloging” workshop series for INFOhio. She also works with the Ohio Public Library Information Network on the MORE project to implement statewide resource sharing in Ohio.Ms. Bradsher received her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and an MLS from the University of South Carolina. She also teaches cataloging for Ohio Dominican University and has taught cataloging at the graduate level for Kent State University.
