NOTSL is pleased to welcome the following speakers and presentations.

Filling in the Blanks, Connecting the Dots…How Do We Get There from Here?
Presented by Mary Huismann, Music/Media Original Cataloger at the University of Minnesota

Mary Huismann has worked extensively with music and media cataloging. She is an active member of the Music Library Association and the Online Audiovisual Catalogers, currently serving as Cataloging Policy Committee Chair. Mary has recently been appointed as Chair of the Music Library Association Cataloging and Metadata Committee’s Content Standards Subcommittee and serves as MLA Liaison to ALA’s Committee on Cataloging: Description and Access (CC:DA).

This presentation will look at where we have come from and where we might be headed in AV cataloging. Along the way, various best practices guides issued by the Online Audiovisual Catalogers (OLAC) and Music Library Association (MLA) will be examined.
